I am a senior at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania majoring in English with dual minors in professional writing and women's and gender studies. I am interested in identity and how analysis of literature promotes a deeper empathy towards various subject matter both in print and in life. Being an English major has provided me with the analytical skills necessary for communication in professional settings. I plan to work in publishing as a writer and editor. After gaining a few years of work experience in my field of interest, I plan to continue my academic career by pursuing a graduate degree in English.
